Heather brings more than 18 years of experience in making people feel beautiful. She studied cut and color at The Aveda Institute in St. Petersburg, Florida, and started her career at Van Michael Salon Atlanta in 2005, spending two years studying precision haircutting under NAHA winners Brandon Darragh and Daniel Holzberger.

Her love of knowledge brought her to pursue advanced cutting education with Redken artist Brayden Pelletier and razor cutting expert Nick Arrojo. In 2012, she felt called to expand her craft and explore the world of color, becoming a Redken-certified colorist and expert in color theory, having studied under Julie Lahr and Leah Freeman at The Redken Exchange in New York City.

Heather went on to advance her skills becoming a Redken Master Colorist in 2010. She became a specialist in color correction and reparative services, and developed a passion for building deep relationships, big transformations, and healing trauma. Her ability to create dramatic color changes without sacrificing hair integrity aligned her with a clientele seeking advanced and innovative techniques and attention to detail.

Heather continued her education becoming certified in tape-in, beaded row, k-tip and handtied extensions with Hairtalk USA, Bellami, JZ Styles, Hot Heads, Babe, Aqua and Extensionologist. Adding this to her book of services gives her the ability to create virtually any look and repair hair in a vast array of styles, lengths, textures and colors.

Heather opened GROW in 2020 with a vision to instill confidence in women from all walks of life, and provide a workspace rooted in artistic and personal freedom.
